Tail rotor shaft failure I figure. It was the first part to go and only later did the transmission, mast and blades come away. There was a 206 that suffered a tail rotor shaft failure in Australia due to corrosion but it was able to land as it was only 40 odd feet in the air and operating at slow speed.
Who is responsible for maintenance?
Remember, the tail boom appeared to exit BEFORE the main rotor.
That looks like Rotor, Transmission, and Frame..Im calling it..Not a TailBump. It was a transmission lock up..and ripped the frame out.
"It appears to be", sure looks like it IS the part.
