  1. The space shuttles historic contribution to the exploration of space is beyond measure
And the space, industry benefits from the enthusiasm, the foresight and the human sacrifice of those astronauts, professional and civilian we are ever grateful
The choice is of the final resting places for the space shuttles certainly were selected with due diligence
Removing any shuttle from its resting place, especially from the Smithsonian campus for some might think it’s sacrilegious and a unnecessary relocation

The cities and communities where the space shuttles rest have become a part of those cities and communities to remove them would be like losing a close friend or family member

To Ted Cruz and the Republican Party this is not politics. This is cruelty like buckshot all are in harms way.
To the Christians and those of any faith with allegiance to the Republican Party, is there nothing that you hold sacred beyond self interest and where in the teachings of Christ is this behavior representative of Christianity 2:27

  2. We'll trade ya. Virginia can have the "INDEPENDENCE" (and its 747 carrier) and we in Houston (home of manned space flight program) will happily take the poor DISCOVERY off their hands (plus they already hv 2 Smithsonian museums with more than plenty historic aircraft). Gotta spread the love around. Texas will pay to move it, not a problem.
