  1. I think there is alot of price fixing amongst the supermarkets. There are produces from the Uk marked as 1pound (2.57 bd) but they are selling for 14 dollars or more (2.57 convertion) which is 5.44 pounds each. I do understand they have to ship it here and pay import and other taxes but 4.44 pounds more per item ? They are buying these in bulk for way less than 1 pound, the more they buy the cheaper the produce is. I think some foods in Barbados, are overpriced by at least a quarter. Also it drives me mad when the item are not priced!

  2. Thank you Sabrina. One key product I think you missed is water. I spent a lot on bottled water while there. I did find you really had to shop around though. I found channel (i think its called) in Collymore Rock had offers on the fruit and veg almost every time I went in during my stay. It would be nice to see you go to either a fish market or one of the Saturday markets (Brightons I think)

  3. No matter where u live things are expensive, every year prices are going up but the contents are getting less , my grandma used to grow alot of her vegetables , raised her own chickens, sheep and pigs , saved herself alot of money , people of today would rather go to the supermarket than grow their own or raise there own .
