  1. So the earliest depiction of Jesus Christ our Lord he was a white man, he wasn’t a European but still white not an Afro African not a Middle Eastern dark skinned Arab but on the fair side

  2. Thank you for your videos. They always seem to be so well-researched and the concept of charts and graphics is such a great aid to understanding these varied and complex ideas.

  3. The feminist geys for Jesus love while cutting down the Mama's they see life coming from. Closet geys wuit saying you are straight after creating in the holy spirit

  4. For such a fictional character, there sure are a lot of historic depictions of Jesus “Yeshua”. I mean many people refer to the portraits of Jesus from the last 100 years and discredit the legitimacy. But these depictions have been made since the dawn of the tale. Hard to think on without much context.

So Why Are People Worshiping A Dead Hebrew?,Most Pictures Look Like American /Italian Tall Yet Jesus Was 5ft 6ins, And He Had Rickets Which Made Him Limp, Not A Perfect Human Jesus Had One Eye, So Why Worship Fake Imiges, Makes No Sence.

  6. Wasn't Dura Europas, according to this video the site of the oldest depiction of Christ as well as the oldest Christian church, and an obviously important site which has not been completely excavated, completely destroyed by our ISIS buddies recently? I just love the way somebody always comes along and destroys anything that is old or beautiful or important? Sure, you can name some old or important things and places that haven't been destroyed — NOT YET! How many years will it be till somebody melts down Tutankhamun's mask for its gold, or tears down St. Paul's Cathedral to use the stones to build a fortress? (All the other pharaonic masks have apparently been melted down, and nearly all the ancient temples torn up to use their stones to build churches and mansions — even the shining white stones casing the Giza pyramids were looted to build other stuff . . .) I've seen only one mention of the Dura Europas atrocity anywhere, and that was some time ago, so somebody will correct me if I got something wrong here . . .

  7. Am I the only person who thinks that it’s faulty logic to assume people 2,000 years ago (or even 4-5,000 years ago) in a region look the same way people look now in a region? People move around a lot and it doesn’t take long for one group to take over. That’s basically the reasoning people use to say Jesus was brown because people who live there now are brown. I’m also not saying he was white – my point is we can’t really know but it also doesn’t really matter how he looked. I’ve just never heard anyone point this out, when there are so many examples that we know of where one ethnic group takes over another in a region and completely changes the demographics.

  8. This was such an interesting video 🎉
I’m so curious to discover more about these artistic depictions and how they came to look the way they do. Where did the beard come from? Why do 6 and 10 look so different from the rest, yet are the most recognizable of them all?
Thanks for taking the time to create this video!

  9. I guess Jesus decided to shave on picture day.

“I will let those people beat me and pull the hair from my beard. I will not hide my face when they say bad things to me and spit at me.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭50‬:‭6‬

  10. Can you imagine what people might say about something like our current political cartoons 2000 years from now? How people are depicted differently depending on the message they are trying to convey. Consider the way we depict rich elites as fat and goblin-ish.
How today if you asked people to depict Jesus we would be influenced by the fact we now have access to just about every image of Jesus that still survives, and many that didn't. Further back in history a person might have been lucky to have ever seen one image, and based there depictions on vague descriptions they got from listening to a sermon. Our somewhat common desire for "social justice" would almost certainly have everyone producing an image of him with darker skin, because it's now more important than ever to make sure you don't depict Jesus as a white European.
Not everyone that makes images is concerned with accurate reproduction of factual appearances in every detail. It's usually more about how we feel, rather than what we see. Just like if you asked many people to reproduce a landscape. Even if everyone was working from the exact same photo the perspectives and styles would be wildly different.

  11. Europeans always think everything around the world is about them or of them including USA now of course they are Europeans on stolen lands. Jesus, (PBUH) was Middle Easterner perhaps Palestinian he was born in Palestine (Bethlehem) crucified in Jerusalem. It is said he had dark hair. so, the images of Jesus (PBUH) presenting him as white with colored eyes aren’t convincing and were never confirmed I really don’t know why people worship those images or believe that is the physical appearance of Allah’s Chosen One ,our messenger.

  12. He was a homosexual lover of the Pope of the time and he was painted by Leanardo Divenchy … basically just got a homosexual and said “ima paint you and say your Jesus” look it up
