• Assuming a monthly consumption of 400 units, the solar system will supply 90% of your electricity needs
• You’ll only need to pay for the remaining 10% (40 units) to the electricity board
• At a grid tariff rate of ₹7 per unit, you’ll pay only ₹280 per month
• Your system generates electricity worth ₹2,520 every month
• Annual savings: ₹30,240

Solar Payback Period:
• System cost after subsidy: ₹1,10,000
• Annual savings: ₹30,240
• Payback period: ₹1,10,000 / ₹30,240 = 3.6 years

  2. There is no subsidy on battery solar systtem i.e Offgrid.
    Govt onkt guves subsidy on OnGrid(No battery) system.

    The disadvantage of On Grid is that it will be useless when your grid electricity is off due to powercut.

  3. Loo i have 5kwh pannel ongrid and off grid both. Waikro your calculation is good but monthly calculation is wrong because of india is monsoon weather continent. And winters is sun less. So sunrays is not constant. And at last the truth is is you want to recover the money it will take around 5-6 years. Then you have to change battery meane again 30k expence. Lol
