So Im still sitting on the fence with this product. I loved the feel of the paint the next day it was really silky and smooth. The gloss was top drawer. It didnt play too well with my collenite spray sealant, but wasnt a disaster. The buff is slightley heavier or thicker than poorboys blackhole. And the price is off putting. But I thought it had a bit of the wow factor this product so Ive kept it on the shelf. some of you might also like the dust repellency claims. I think overall its a cool product but Black hole still is my favorite.
This has to be the laziest buffing I have seen on a video yet ever, I seen you spread the product yet no real buff.
Great video John! I also have this and am impressed with the gloss it has. I’d love to try your combo however and top it with that Collinite spray. The best gloss I’ve ever experienced on my white truck is Swissvax Concorso paste wax. Give that a try as well. I top the Swissvax with Obsesses Garage Drying Aid after a maintenance wash.
I always top this with Chemical Guys Jet Seal. It still provides UV protection, anti-static protection, and a year of paint protection! It also adds a little gloss!
I swear that every time I see a new or existing Chemical Guys product being tested in some way the first thing that comes to mind is haven't they already made this one and it's just been repackaged for marketing. Maybe they have just changed the color, name and price. I don't know. I have a hard time taking them serious at times. I like one of their interior protectant. Silk Shine. However, I believe it's repeated under another label. 😅😅
Thanks for your in depth reviews. Cheers!
So many PoorBoys products overlap each other.
There’s about 8 useful products in their lineup. The rest (like this) is just another silicon based marketing filler, nothing revolutionary
maybe you should leave it longer or change cloth use 2
Jesus I remember using this 15+ years ago 😅
Milky finish
Not so good
Im impressed. As someone who really dislikes a company that makes way too many products (chemical guys) i would actually try this. Thumbs up 👍
You'll be sad to learn that this product has been discontinued by Chemical Guys. They have it as "last chance" on their website. Once it's gone, it's gone.
Comical gays 🤮
We currently pay $22 in the US for this on Amazon. You definitely paying extra to import + VAT
I just ordered a bottle because of your reaction. You left it on for 10 minutes? Do you think I should try 5 minutes instead?
Your windscreen is driving my OCD crazy…… 😂😂😂😂
can you use this on ppf ?
500th like 👍
Maguires #26 Yellow. Deep wet clear shine and it layers like a beast.
Love this stuff been using it for about 4 years now
For me, a product like this will last me up to two years. If the price is 15 or 25, I don't really care. As long as it ticks all other boxes, it's worth it to me
Have you tried any Apex Blue Collar lines?
Why have anti static properties, then put something on top of it
You can easily see you're putting no effort into buffing that off Jon its one handed barely resting on the microfiber
This product has been on the market for god knows how many years.
Jon I’m surprised you haven’t checked out ADAM'S BRILLIANT GLAZE… if you do read non patrion comments it would be a good content watch. Keep up
the great work 👍🏻
You used too much.🤣😅😂.Just kidding, i had to. Cheers from Arizona. I am curious if the anti static properties hold up to the hype like the thumbs up on the label.
Looks great but what would you need to go over it to lock it in and could it react to whats going over the top of it
Is it used instead of wax or a pre polish
How are the haters going to love it when you are on the fence about it? 🤣
Sorry to be a pain be, I know you've probably been asked this to death. But what microfiber are you using? I've got Chemical guys micros but they are way too fluffy.
Chemical Guys waaay too expensive, labels too blingy and full of waffle. If you’re a BH fan it’s like Chemical Guys are the other end of the scale….
I think I'll stick with the various spray products I use for topping up my coated car🤷♂️
As far as CG products for me, maybe their scents but I've been using the new Griot's Garage Stinky Be Gone line and well, I see no use for CG's here anymore🤷♂️
How's the buff😂😂😂
Would this work with a ceramic coatings under it
Dodo Juice Lime Prime is still my fave glaze/cleanser
It actually cracks me up when you pick up a bottle of anything, and you cut straight through the marketing BS like a Japanese samurai sword, giving absolutely no F's about anything. This is why I will remain a loyal subscriber. I hate marketing BS with a passion, and I'm always prepared to take the P out of any BS I see and make a joke about it with my mates. Putting a thumbs up on their own product deserves them a slap, John. Don't ever give up on calling out stupidity on branding and product claims 💯 😂👏 despite all of that, it's interesting that it plays well with Collinite.
Though I use scholl concepts coat wax now due to longevity I absolutely love the look of chemical guys butter wet wax
This used to be like £13 10 years ago. That's a huge increase. Surprised you have not reviewed Prima amigo
Can you try some mitchell & king stuff please Jon
6:00 half expected you to lick it as well!
Great video as always Jon, love the tattoo on the head comment 😀
I have a couple of Chemical Guys items in my arsenal and I’m on the fence. They do what they say but no wow factor. But their Hex Logic pads are pretty darn good to be fair
Oooooh i love anything that gives a deep gloss shine 😍
I've switched to fusso dark wax. So far six months still Beading and glossy. Easy to put on and take off.
Meguiars hybrid flex was a nightmare to get off and left dark light patches everywhere.
Love your videos mate.. After watching hours and hours of your videos, I’ve just finished polishing up my own vehicle.. Clay bared it, machine polished it with Scholl Concepts S20 Black 1-Step Compound .. Then finished it off with Rupes UNO ADVANCED .. Im not 100% sure I’ve used the correct products , but I’m absolutely thrilled with the final result.. Thank you for your guidance..
