This Solar Panel Is Like a Sticker
Germany introduced an ultrathin and flexible solar panel that can be applied to various surfaces, including curved ones. This innovative panel uses organic photovoltaic technology to efficiently generate 85 watts per square meter.

Erm aren't they supposed to be WIRED INTO THE HOUSING'S GRID?
Low output
So why isn't this panel not on all suitable new builds walls and roofs by compulsion of planning consent???
Rubbish about Rubbish 😂
Plastic and the sun dont seems like a bad partnership
Advantages of sticker solar panels (also known as thin-film solar panels or flexible solar panels) for house electricity:
Advantages:
1. _Flexibility_: Can be applied to curved or irregular surfaces.
2. _Lightweight_: Easy to transport and install.
3. _Aesthetics_: Can be integrated into building design.
4. _Easy installation_: Peel-and-stick application.
5. _Low profile_: Minimal visual impact.
Disadvantages:
1. _Lower efficiency_: Compared to traditional solar panels.
2. _Durability concerns_: May be more prone to damage.
3. _Higher cost_: Currently more expensive than traditional solar panels.
4. _Limited power output_: Typically lower wattage than traditional panels.
5. _Adhesion issues_: May not stick well to certain surfaces.
6. _Weather resistance_: May be more susceptible to weather-related damage.
7. _Repair challenges_: Difficult to repair or replace individual cells.
8. _Certification and regulation_: May not meet existing building codes or regulations.
Keep in mind that technology is rapidly evolving, and advancements may address some of these disadvantages. It's essential to weigh the advantages and disadvantages and consider your specific situation before deciding on sticker solar panels for your house electricity.
Wait til a nice hot sunny day then you realise they cant disperse heat and the cells fry
The only problem is it won't last any more than a couple years.
Nice
Cool, the fiery first way they needed to do, even if it's a flat, flexible wood with stuck on is good also 👌
First, it wasn’t invented in Germany. Second, Germany isn’t the only country trying to put it into production.
85 watts per square meter in horrible. The power available from the sun is about 1000 watts per square meter. I guess 85 watts is better than non watts, but if what this robot voice said is true, these arent worth the trouble.
Solar panels need heatsink in order to function in 100 percent capacity. These stick on solar panels will overheat during the full sun.
Dude 85 watts per square meter is low but since we are now using space that’s not conventional it’s amazing solutions for tight, curved space
Now windturbines will have this sticker effect and gain +100 storage capacity.
How does it prevent heat build up that reduces the efficiency of other solar panels?
