I made two batches of this dough today! One with 1/4 t. yeast and the other batch with 1/2 t. yeast & I can't wait until later today to bake the one with more yeast! Hi Mary, Love all of the recipes and pantry ideas. I have been watching some of your older videos about shelf stable mixes. I have a few questions. When making the dry cake mixes, can I use dried powdered Stevia from my herb garden as the sweetener? If so how much? Also can I use natural Cocao powder and how much? I am also excited with the gravy mixes, can you add powdered milk and pepper to make a cream gravy? My husband loves biscuits with creamy sasage gravy. I hate buying the packets from the store and looking for an alternative. I have started trading out processed ingredients for more natural and traditional ones. I just ordered you Modern pioneer Cookbook too.Can't wait to try all of the amazing recipes.Thank you so much for all of the wonderful videos. My traditional foods binder is filling up fast.

Mary, you are a wonderful teacher. I'm going to try your recipe. For a variation, I would like to make a white chocolate /apricot bread that I buy at Central Market in Ft. Worth. Do you suppose I could use these techniques to try making one ? Would I need to chop the white chocolate and apricots and add to the flour-yeast-salt mixture? It's so yummy!!
