I call bogus on ALLOWS. I can see that if you read it as the verb "allows" then technically none of the answer appears in the clue. But if you read it as "all ows" it does break that rule. Also, all the other theme answers were phrases with an echoing word (repeating, double, returns, etc.) and then something referencing the rest of the clue "tut-tut" = "mummy" etc. ALLOWS doesn't follow any of those conventions.

I think "backup copy" is meant as copy = ok (like in radio speech), and backup, because there two of them, so the second is a backup
I think "Backup Copy" means that "Ok" is an affirmative response (as in "Copy that"), and "Ok, ok" means you have an extra one, a.k.a. a backup
