Can’t wait!!!!
Need him to make Nightmare on Elm Street and The Thing
Everyone bitching about the practical effects comments lmao
And ppl don’t know what’s coming either the whole hidden agenda uff yall gonna be thrilled
As for someone who saw early cut of this film a few months before the trailer was even announced or any of the marketing stuff was even announced. I had to say people are in for a really good film. It’s. Dark, it’s gritty , it’s a throwback to the alien world, it’s violent, the effects are top notch and the whole biological twist is also interesting.
Making movies is stressful af. Fede is still pretty young.
The compuer wiz are angry with blud
I just heard some positive things about the new movie. I'm stoked! 😊
it must be soo tiring doing all these interviews
The fact he did Evil Dead, doesn't fill me with confidence….but it's got to be better than the last 3 Alien movies at least. He seems like a cool guy and I want to believe what he's saying. He seems authentic enough.
No CGI, means no woke losers.
Avoiding cgi say that to the 7 VFX studios who worked on your film. I have never heard so much bs in my life. I myself am a VFX artist who creates 3D models both in creatures and hard surface assets as well as rigging as I’m a generalist in the field I have friends who work their ass off to produce stunning effects. The director and the whole Marketing team are so scummy for discrediting so many artists who have to work overtime to produce shots that they want. Phantom menace had 1 VFX company and this has 7 which just shows how much the film required it. Really hope Hollywood get their act together and stop shitting on so many of us it is an art form.
No CGI? You’ll never make it in this business
Going to see this on sat and I genuinely can't wait ! I hope Ridley comes up with a sequel to covenant and completes the story
Really can't wait to see the movie hope it delivers..
6 VFX studios worked on this movie. I appreciate all the practical filmmaking that went into the movie and that should be celebrated but no movie at this budget or scale is ever finished without VFX and that’s not a bad thing.
It’s all about how they’re done, complimenting the filmmaking instead of being a crutch. It seems like they did it the right way with this one and that should be talked about more.
God, I love him. He is so talented and you can tell he loves what he does. He doesn’t have an ego. He’s just a dude that loves making movies. I wish he could get his hands on remaking Nightmare On Elm Street!
Avoiding cgi my ass. I bet thousands of vfx artist worked on the film and nearly every shot contains some sort of cgi.
Really sad how Hollywood loves to lie about it like with top gun. These movies are all full of cgi, stop pretending. And also while your at it pay the uncredited vfx artists a living wage. Thanks
Breath of fresh air hearing him talk and seemingly meaning it. Making movies for the love of movies, not trying to check boxes to make a formulaic cash cow. Cant wait to see this.
Another movie with no CGI -it must cost a lot of money to have over 180 people sitting around doing nothing.
But there’s sumfink in the fackin warha. 😅😂🤣😁😆. With that line alone , i will pass.
Awesome u got to meet
For fuck's sake, can we stop pretending as though these films are so much better because of practical effects. First of all, it's going to have a shit ton of CG and secondly, practical can look shit if not done well, as Fede basically said. Also, just constantly parroting about practical effects only serves to undersell the incredible work that CG artists actually do on these films.
Let this man open his own ride in Universal or Disneyland – it would create so many memories
I love seeing Fede along for the ride during this movie's promotion as much as (if not more) than the cast
This really feels like his baby, and his magnum opus that he just cannot wait to reveal to the world
I swear I have seen more of this man than anyone else – and any other director promoting any of their movies EVER
Every review has been excellent so far
Fede is an excellent director, what a great choice for Alien. Can't wait to see it this Friday.
"Avoiding CGI" stop the lies, everybody knows it by now its a marketing fluke for the idiots who dont appreciate cg and the work it does. just give credit to your vfx team i promise it wont hurt
Great director I loved the evil dead 2013 if this does well I would love to have him do a dead space movie with all practical effects I hope he always makes them like that
8:05 So Fede basically confirmed the trailer didn't spoil EVERYTHING. That's reassuring. I was worried the trailer spoiled too much of the film. Looks there there will be plenty of surprises! Can't wait!
