2. Leapfrog Jumping
In daisy chain we simply install all panels with same orientation such as Plus, Minus & Plus Minus and we start connecting them as
we leave one terminal at one end, – to +. – to + and so on. So we have positive & negative terminals are opposite ends, and we need to use an extra dc cable to take both terminals at one side.
In leapfrog jumping we install panels in such a manner that every second panels is inverted with respect to previous one, and we start wiring as we connect + of first to – of second and – of first to + of third and so on, and finally we get both terminals are at one side, saving extra dc cable.
