Here’s a 190 piece STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) set for 8+ year olds. Its pretty cheap for the amount of pieces and combination of robots you can build. I like that the main motor unit can be re-used in each of the sets. Once you’ve mastered the 2 sets (level 1 and level 2), you can challenge your child’s mind to come up with other creative robots/objects.
The only concerning part of this set is organizing all of the parts, and then retrieving them for another project. In addition to STEM, I’d say this teaches patience, as well! Watch my unboxing and my first build, a Rolly Polly Robot!
