TheCGBros Presents “Dandelion” by Zhengwu Gu and Ling Zhao – In a harsh dystopian world, a labor robot working on a mine one day finds something he has never seen – a soft, yet vulnerable dandelion. Something is gradually changing in his hollow heart…
An award-winning short 3d animation about hope, freedom, humanity, exploration, and self-discovery, tells a robot’s journey through the intersection of technology and nature, and reveals his final decision following his heart and will. It was made as a student thesis film at Ringling College of Art and Design and won the 2023 Best of Ringling Jury Gold Award.
